S.H.A.K.E students regularly perform at School Fetes and other events.
Students follow the CSTD Exam Syllabus. Exams are taken in Classical, Modern Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Tap.
S.H.A.K.E Performance Groups participate in 4/5 Eisteddfods per year, with 3 levels currently available (performance groups available by audition only).
We have a major concert (two performances) at the end of each year with all students expected to participate.
EXAMS
Students follow the CSTD exam syllabus.
Exams are taken in Classical, Modern Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Tap.
EXAM fees must be paid prior to registration.
Students are expected to practice in their own time prior to exams and not miss classes close to exam time.
Parents are required to provide lunch and/or morning/afternoon tea for the examiner and assist with preparation for exam day.
EISTEDDFODS
S.H.A.K.E. currently has 2 Eisteddfod Performance Groups (Opens and 10 and under) we compete at 3 or 4 Local Eisteddfods per year. Entry into the Performance Groups is by Audition and Invitation only. Auditions are held the First week back of the New Year.
LOCAL EVENTS
S.H.A.K.E. loves to perform at Local Community Events.
We regularly perform at the New Farm State School Fete, Holy Spirit School Fete and the Brisbane Central Community days.
